Somewhat More Elegant and Less Casual

03/11/2020 - The design of the Ona Curved Armchair by Sebastian Herkner shows his very own interpretation of the Freifrau brand. The new Ona Curve model, a higher version of the Ona chairs with an iconic shaped backrest, complements the Ona Collection already presented in 2019.

A rounded seat cushion, a curved backrest, four slender feet - Ona is reduced to the essentials. Characteristic is the soft surrounding piping, which reinforces the seam between the two shells of the backrest and accentuates the silhouette of the seat. 'A little more elegant and less casual' - this is the answer of designer Sebastian Herkner when asked what distinguishes his design from the other Freifrau models. Ona embraces warmly and still lets his owner keep his posture. 

Ona is manufactured in countless steps from high-quality materials, starting with the tree trunk, the delivery of the fabric, the work of the seamstresses, upholsterers and up to the quality controls. In the end, the finished chair is available in several versions and can therefore be used in many different types of projects.
