Fantin Presents the Tall Units of Frame Collection

 

The idea is to continue complementing the collection over a number of years. It currently contains kitchens, tables, storage units, bookcases and accessories of various sizes. All Frame items feature solid square tube frames, which are always visible in what is essentially a tribute to the frame itself and the metal from which it is made. The latter material embodies the essence of Fantin, which has been processing it for more than 50 years thanks to tireless research and ongoing development of design skills and solutions. They are enhanced by first-rate mechanical manufacturing and we always strive to strike a balance between industrial approaches and craftsmanship, efficient production and attention to detail.

Fantin has taken things to a whole new level in recent years thanks to the work done with its Art Director Salvatore Indriolo, who followed three simple rules when he designed the collection:

 

1. All of the frames are made from square tubes and they can all be used to form right-angled structures for an endless array of products, from tables and sideboards to kitchen workstations and mirrors.

2. The vertical parts (doors, drawers, sides and backboards) are inset and flush with the frames.

3. The horizontal parts (table and kitchen tops) rest on top of the frames, which are always on show.

 

The Outdoor Frame Kitchen was successfully presented in spring 2020 and this autumn Fantin is launching new Tall Frame Units, which come in heights of 213 cm and 153 cm. They open up endless possibilities, including complementary interior design schemes spanning kitchens and living areas.

There are two different widths: 67 cm with a single door and 128 cm with two. This gives the range great modular flexibility and means it can be used to freely combine doors, shallow drawers and deep drawers, while also slotting in accessories and appliances by leading brands, such as ovens, microwaves, wall-mounted dishwashers, coffee machines and wine coolers. Create a tailor-made, fabulously functional and superbly equipped kitchen with Fantin’s partner brands Barazza, AEG, Electrolux and Smeg.

 

There are no fewer than 47 finishes on offer in the broad colour palette, so there is almost endless scope for customization. The options range from an anthracite tone for contemporary, industrial kitchens and cloud grey for sophisticated, minimal style, to vibrant zinc yellow for more eclectic settings.

 

The new modules can be used alongside the two Frame Kitchen workstations, which come with two or three doors (128 cm or 188 cm wide) and have won numerous accolades, including a 2018 Archiproducts Design Award and a place in the 2019 ADI Index. An outdoor version of the workstations is available thanks to electrophoretic painting processes that prevent rust from forming and offer outstanding protection from the elements.

 

Rounding off the selection are the tops, which can be made of 4 mm Barazza steel – with either a Vintage or satin finish that can be matched with all Fantin finishes – or Fenix NTM.
